Er ist bekannt für seine partizipativen Performances und kurzlebigen Aktionen, die oft wie soziale Experimente erscheinen. Der Grundton von San Kellers Werken ist kritisch und konzeptuell und spielt mit der Beziehung zwischen Kunst und Leben. Wie er Kunst als Dienstleistung einsetzt, gibt dem Publikum die Möglichkeit überholte Denkmuster zu befragen, neu zu erfahren und das eigene Handeln einem kritischen Blick zu unterziehen.
Die Performances welche er organisiert, nehmen immer wieder einen überraschenden und unerwarteten Lauf, ganz abhängig davon, wie die Teilnehmer die einfachen Regeln interpretieren, welche vorgängig kommuniziert werden.
In seinem Berliner Beitrag wird San Keller vor Publikum über seinen Hang zum Simplen nachdenken und sich dabei so gut wie möglich mit Pop ablenken lassen.

He is known for his participatory performances and short-lived actions that often seem like social experiments. The basic tone of San Keller’s works is critical and conceptual and plays with the relationship between art and life. How he uses art as a service, giving the audience the opportunity to question outdated patterns of thinking–to experience new things and to critically examine one’s own actions.
The performances he organizes always take a surprising and unexpected turn, depending on how the participants interpret the simple instructions communicated beforehand. In his Berlin contribution, San Keller will fold the audience into his penchant for simplification and distract them as much as possible with Pop!
